If I call for an appointment, how long should I expect to wait to see the doctor for a consultation?
Typically, we can schedule your cosmetic consultation with Dr. Van Laeken within 2-3 weeks.
How much is the consultation fee and what method of payment do you accept?
The consultation fee is $150.00 (including tax), and will be credited toward your balance if surgery is completed within six months of the original quote. At the time of booking, a credit card will be required to secure your appointment. In the event that you must cancel your appointment within 48 hours or do not attend your appointment, the full amount will be charged to your credit card.
Several payment options are available, including Cash, Interac, Visa, Mastercard, Certified Cheque and Money Order.
How long are the quotes valid for?
All quotes are valid for one year. Please be aware that the $150.00 consultation fee will be applied as a credit towards your balance only if the surgery is completed within six months of the initial quote.
How much time should I allot for the consultation?
Plan to spend approximately one hour in our office for registration, consultation and a customized quote review with our Cosmetic Coordinator.
What if I have to cancel my appointment?
Our office requires 48 hours notice to cancel your consultation. In the event you are unable to attend the appointment and do not provide sufficient notice, the full consultation fee of $150.00 will be applied to your credit card.
How much does each procedure cost?
Your body is unique, and no two surgeries are ever the same. Once you are assessed by Dr. Van Laeken, a personalized quote will be generated for you. Our Cosmetic Coordinator will review this quote with you and answer any questions you may have about financing, available surgical dates and any special instructions.
What if I require Financial Assistance to fund my surgery?
We are proud to be in association with Medi-Card, a company that has helped many of our patients afford the procedures that have changed their lives. You can apply directly online at www.medicard.com. This can even be done prior to your appointment with Dr. Van Laeken.
After your application is reviewed and approved, Medicard will contact our office and confirm your procedure in addition to the amount. A payment plan would then be set up with Medicard for monthly installments in repayment.
May I make monthly installments prior to my procedures instead of financing through an independent company?
Yes, payments can be made prior to your surgery date in monthly installments however, the final balance must be paid in full, two weeks prior to the scheduled procedure. It is also worth noting that the $500.00 deposit must also be paid in full at the time of the booking.
What is the average wait time for a private surgical procedure?
We will do our best to accommodate your schedule. Approximate wait time for surgery is 4-6 weeks.
